• Save publish & close while customizing

It would be great to have a button for save publish and close. In 19 cases out of 20 I want to save, publish and close while I do a customization. Now I need three clicks for that instead of one.

  • Allow NOT IN searches in advanced find, marketing lists etc

A very common request from customers is to find records WITHOUT a certain related record. Today I need to make a custom report for that. I think it would be great to be able to create views etc based on NOT IN statements in an advanced find. That could easily be used for customers to set up even more dynamics marketing lists too.

  • CRM- Allow for including attributes from related entities on forms

I want the same functionality as I have in views. In views it's possible to add fields from N:1 entities. This should be possible on forms as well so we don't have to use javascript to fetch these fields for customers who wants to see everything everywhere. This would make things much easier and would reduce data redundancy.

  • Export to excel - "open" directly has been removed in CRM 2011 - possible to get it back?

In CRM 4.0 it was possible to open the excel document directly after you clicked export. That option has been removed in CRM 2011, any ideas why and foremost.. is it possible to get it back?

  • Dialogs - request ability to be run on multiple posts in CRM

Today dialogs can only be run on a single post in CRM. It would be nice if they could be used on set of multiple records, like workflows can be run.

  • Quick find searches should take into account the context/view the search is made in

When making quick searches in a view its more natural/logical to the users that the query takes into account the context that the search is made in. From what I understand, this already works in the Outlook Client, but not in the Web Client.

Let me give you an example:
The user wants to find all accounts from a certain city that have been deactivated. Naturally, the user selects inactive accounts, search for the city and today CRM gives the user all _active_ accounts in the specific city instead of the inactive ones. That's hard for us as consultants to defend out there.

  • Quick find showing the result with same view settings as the originating original view.

  • Give views ability retrieve columns deeper than just one level related N:1

When building complex xRM solutions it's not unusual to have deeper entity relations than just 2 levels. It would be nice to be able to reach columns from entities that lies further above the target entity than just 1 level above.

    I'll try to explain:

    Let's say I've got Entity A on top which got a relationship to entity B and that entity has got a relationship to entity C. So, we're having a 3 level hierarchy. A --- 1:N --- B --- 1:N --- C

Now I would like to make a view for entity C with data from entity C, B and A. Today that's not possible. If I start from level C I can only reach columns from C and B. If I would like to reach level A I would need to create a report.

I would like this limitation to be removed. I can't even understand why it's there, since you can create filter criteria on any level in CRM as long as it's related to the entity you start with. You should therefore be able to reach columns as long as they have N:1 relations all the way to the Entity you want to add columns from.

Hope you guys understood my explanation :)

With this enhancement end users will be able to create much more powerful views directly in CRM without having to ask for/create reports.

    Best regards
